Shearings Holidays has grown its ocean cruise programme for 2020 with the introduction of Fred Olsen Cruises, CroisiEurope and three additional worldwide cruise and tour itineraries. Building on the success of its existing ocean cruise programme with Cruise and Maritime Voyages (CMV), Shearings Holidays now has a total of 33 ocean cruise itineraries on sale, 22 of which are new. In total, 18 no-fly cruise and 15 fly-cruise options are now available, across 9 ships.
Partnering with Fred Olsen for the first time, Shearings Holidays is offering a total of 13 cruises on board three ships – MS Balmoral, MS Braemar and MS Boudicca. Alongside popular European itineraries such as ‘Capital Cities of the Baltic’ and ‘Authentic Andalucía with Lisbon’, a range of long-haul option are available including a ‘Classic Caribbean and Havana Highlights’ cruise, an ‘Authentic India’ cruise and a 29-day ‘Japan, Vietnam Hong Kong and Singapore’ cruise.
CroisiEurope’s ocean cruises are also a being offered by Shearings Holidays for the first time. Six cruise itineraries are now available on board CroisiEurope’s new ship MS La Belle des Oceans, as she sails around the Mediterranean in Spring 2020. Cruises include an 8-day ‘Charms of Corsica’ cruise and a 10-day ‘The Spanish Coast, Algarve & Lisbon’ cruise.
Shearings Holidays continues to offer a selection of cruises from CMV on board MV Columbus and MS Magellan. 11 itineraries are currently on sale across both ships including a 3-day ‘Dublin Mini-Cruise’ departing from Liverpool on board MS Magellan and an 8-day ‘Majestic Fjordland’ cruise, departing from London Tilbury on board MV Columbus.
For those who want to go further and join an exploration cruise around the world, three new ‘tour and cruise’ itineraries are now available that included an ocean cruise element within the escorted tour. New additions include:
- Alaska Cruise & Rocky Mountaineer Journey through the Clouds – A 19-day itinerary including seven nights on board Holland America Lines’ MS Koningsdam, as she sails the coast from Vancouver to Alaska and back.
- Great Explorers Cruise Antarctica, Chilean Fjords & Falklands – A 20-day cruise itinerary sailing on board Hurtigruten’s MS Roald Amundsen.
- Sail Sydney to New Zealand’s Sights – A 24-day itinerary that includes 9 nights on board Celebrity Cruises’ ship, MS Celebrity Solstice as she sails from Sydney, across the Tasman Sea and around New Zealand.
